Welcome to the 23rd Asia Pacific Optometric Congress

– Be Revitalized & Inspired

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to announce the APOC 2023 jointly held by the Asia Pacific Council of Optometry and the Indian Optometric Association, in the City of New Delhi on June 2nd to 4th 2023.

Having successfully organized the Virtual 2021 APOC, which was in conjunction with our country member Optometry Australia, we will return to face to face meeting in New Delhi for our APOC 2023.

We are excited to have this platform to gather eye care clinicians and researchers to review recent developments in eye care and be revitalized and inspired with the innovations and technology that have brought forth better clinical practice from patient management to a broader spectrum of public vision health. These include myopia management, presbyopia correction, dry eyes and special contact lenses as well as latest developments in the treatment of various eye conditions/diseases.

It would also be a platform for our industrial partners to share their spectacular commercial success of the use of specially designed contact lenses and spectacles for the management of myopia and other ocular conditions as well as advanced instrumentation.

After the last three years of the Covid pandemic, this congress is a great chance for us to meet FACE TO FACE, and see EYE-TO-EYE again, becoming re-acquainted for many, and to be acquainted with new colleagues for all.

We hope to see you in the wonderful city of New Delhi, and for those coming from the UK, we are pleased to say that e-Visa are now once again available for travelling to India.

With Warmest Regards,

Professor Carly Lam
